About Aakriti

Aakriti is a parent Initiative association working for the upliftment of the special need children/person. Its endeavor is to establish a platform, where such children can be provided with infrastructure and services to assist them to rehabilitate in the society.

Aakriti is not only to help the special need children but also to provide counseling and support to their families.

Aakriti was founded in 2004 as (Educational cum Vocational Training center for mentally challenged) with the single vision of making rehabilitation and special training needs available locally.

In 2007, Aakriti was registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 as (Association for Ability Kare Rehabilitation and Training of person with disabilities) and the Educational cum Vocational Training Center as its project, is running at House No. 676 Sector 28 Faridabad Haryana (India)

Aakriti is catering all special need children regardless of their age disabilities, whether it is Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation, Down's Syndrome, Developmental Delays, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Multiple disabilities, Hearing impaired or any other disabilities

Aakriti was started with 2 children and now 30 children are being benefitted with the services provided to them.

Aakriti is registered with the Income Tax Act XXI of 1860 for the exemption under section 80G for 50 percent tax rebate.
