Aakriti provides multiple services for training and rehabilitation to special need children
1. Life skill education for all
Life skills are abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable individual to deal with the demand and challenges of every day living. It inculdes cognitive development, personal abilities, communication skill, expressing feelings, empathy, co-ordination and team work
2. Computer training
A comprehensive training program aims at making the child proficient in basic application like MS Office, MS Outlook, Internet etc.
3. Yoga Therapy
This helps the adolescents in enhanced co-ordination, increased attenction span and reducing hyper-activity
4. Extra Co-curricular Activities
Creating multi-sensory activities are facilitated through integrated arts which include Dance, Drama and Music as a therapy and as a means of skill acquisition
5. Pre-vocational and vocational training
The major focus is to prepare students to acquire skills and to indulge them in social utility productive works, so that they can work independently to earn or can work in the sheltered workshops, according to their intellectual/functional levels.

- 1. Paper bag making
- 2. Stained glass paintings
- 3. Decorative stationary like: gift bags, gift envelopes, hand made greeting cards, note pads etc.
- 4. Making paper mache products
- 5. Making decorative rakhies, friendship bands
- 6. Home decoration items like: wall hanging, bandan vaar's using beads and laces
- 7. Files and folders
- 8. Candle making
- 9. Painting earthern ware products(flower ports, diyas, money boxes etc.)
- 10. Painting made by special children using acrylic colors
6. Behaviour management
Techiniques are used to incrase the desirable behaviour and to reduce undesirable behaviour.
7. Paramedical Care
A team of speech therapist, physiotherapist and occupational therapist help in developing the communication skills, management of physicial deformities and motor skills, improving sensory responses(sensory integration) and improving daily living activies (ADL)
8. Workshop and counselling sessions
Are conducted for parents and siblings for home based/communtiy based rehabilitation, and behaviour management of special need children
9. Summer workshops
4 weeks summer workshop is conducted for special children during summer vocation in between may and june every year. The ability of children are tapped through art and craft activities
10. Transport facilities
Are provided for pick and drop of the children from door to door
